Im off to Northern Ireland tonight, via the joy of easyjet. Luv Esther have three shows over there one Thursday night, one saturday night, and one sunday night. The last two are going to be really tough as we normally clear a venue by about 1am if its a good night, and then in at the next venue at 8am the next moreing to do it all again! So if you could pray that the crew would have energy, strength and a good team bonding, that would be greatly appreciated! If your lucky we may post an update on the crew blog while were over there, but the chances are not very high! But check out www.luvesthercrew.co.uk just incase!

Spain - New Year 2007

Well we had an amazing opportunity to go to Spain with our friends Ray & Nancy for new year. It was a really early flight out from Bristol on the 27th December, having to get up at 3.30AM!! We thought Joe would fall back asleep in the car, but alas no, he dozed for a bit, and then fully woke up at the airport! This was Joe's first ever plane journey, so we were a bit nervous, but it all went really well. A mixture of sleeping, Balamory on the laptop and food got us through the 2 and a bit hour flight! No crying or anything! Result! We arrived in Spain and picked up the hire... bus! And i drove to the hotel which was about 45 minutes away. Ive never driven on the other side of the road before, and it was an interesting experience, fortunately i had Nancy sitting next to me, pointing out things on the way (!) We'd visited R&N in the summer at the same resort for a few days, so knew it was a great place, and Joe loved it as well. The weather was brilliant, it seemed so strange to be on the beach in shorts on Jan 1st!! Some of the days were so warm that people were out by the pool sunbathing! very surreal. Joe loved it though, his favourite pass time had to be fountain hunting! The complex had loads of fountains around it, and Joe loved going on walks to find them, when he spotted one he would point and start running over to it going 'ooooooooooooo' !!! so sweet! We had some great evenings out as well, Spanish restaurants are great! and day trips to various places. We went swimming pretty much every day, with Joe now ducking under the water and coming up smiling! And before we knew it, the time was nearly up and we had to come home. The flight back wasn't so early and once again Joseph was a star. Landed in Bristol and ooooooooooooooooooooo it was cold!! such a shock stepping through the door of the plane! We had a great time in Spain with Ray, Nancy & Aidan, we enjoyed every minute of it! It was a shame to come home so soon, but at the same time, really exciting. We all feel that 2007 is going to be a great year in so many ways. I'm so excited about what God's going to do in our lives and NGM!

Christmas 2006

Well before we knew it christmas was upon us! We thought we'd got on top of things and started our christmas shopping early, but somehow all good intentions never work out and we still felt rushed towards the end! This was Joe's second christmas, although last year he was so young, im sure he didn't know what was going on! This time was different, and since his birthday, he certainly had learnt about pretty coloured wrapping paper and that if you pull it, you're most likely to find a toy underneath, or some perfume depending on who's present you open! We visited Nanny And Grandad Wickhams first, and had christmas number one. We really had great fun and Joseph loved it. We visited father christmas at the garden centre, which although fun for us, im not sure he got it!! but then he gave him chocolate and Joe was happy!! Surprisingly he didnt go for the christmas tree, we were so sure it was going to be the centre of attention and most probably get pulled down, But we were wrong, I think he only went over it a few times, and they were on bauble hunting missions (and we all know the only thing to do with a bauble once you've tracked and caught it, is to eat it!!) Fortunately we pounced before the bauble fought back! So lots of fun in Bromsgrove, including christmas dinner number one! (I love christmas!!)

Then on the 23rd it was the big drive down to Winchester (via a quick stop in at Thornbury) to visit Nanny and Grandad Pierson. Once again we had a great time visiting the park, playing with bubble machines, and opening more presents on christmas day! By this point, Joe had really got the hang of it! Joe received a toy garage from us for christmas, which he's just getting the hang of playing with, although he much more enjoys sitting on the top of it! And of course we had another christmas dinner! All all good!

Ive got some video of christmas, but havnt had the chance to edit it yet, when i have i'll put it up.

Then it was a drive back up to Bristol on Boxing day ready for the early morning flight to Espania!!

Joe's Birthday Part 2 & 3!

Ok heres begins lots of updates!!!! We asked Joe what he would like to do for his birthday, we offered him trips to disney, A day in the worlds biggest toy shop and a trip to the moon on virgin galactics beta mission, but he said he just wanted his friends round for a right old fun filled party, so who were we to complain! So all his mates came round and played and then we sang Happy Birthday and had cake made by Zoe. A big laughing clown which Joe loved and wanted to grab constantly! He gots lots of lovely presents as well, and we got him a new trike which whenever he see's we wants to jump on and get pushed around!, all in all a really fun day which ended in a trip to sleepy ol bedfordshire!

Later on that week we had the third part of Joe's birthday, again we asked him what he wanted to do, offering him everything once again, but he said the only thing he wanted was for his nannys, grandads, uncles, aunts, cousins, great grandmas and great uncles to come round and play! Well this sounded reasonable, so invited them all over on the basis that they behaved themselves and didnt get too over excited! Once again we had a great day, lots of presents and party food, and another singing session with another great clown cake! Jospeh really enjoyed himself and so did we! But again the day was nearing it's end and headed off to bedfordshire (he commutes there a lot!!)

its been a long time but we're still here!!

hi everyone, really sorry for the lack of posting recently, we have been up to loads of things though! A few weeks back we went on holiday to north cornwall. We had a really great week, with great weather, Joe has decided that he really enjoys the beach, eating more sand and sea water!!! We would post some pictures, however our camera died on us! its really gutting as i love to take pictures of him growing up, but never mind, we'll get it sorted as soon as we can. Joe is doing really well, he's pulling himself up onto everything, and crawling properly now, weve got to really keep an eye him constantly!! its great seeing him learn and grow and discover new things. Today we went to visit nanny & grandad wickham and great grandma waters, and managed to borrow their camera to get some shots!! yey!! so here they are - enjoy!

Great Grandma Waters & Joe

"Where's nanny gone?"

Yep, he's crawling!

Nanny always wanted a train set, she never got one, but she's making up for it by 'choo chooing' joe round on a tray! Choo Choo!!

We went looking for a beach and found this one, Joseph's first experience with sand and sea water... he decided to tuck in! fortunatly we had a supply of baby wipes!

We left behind the paddling pool so had to make do!!
